Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data Kamifi (kamifi.com, including Kamifi Lab) collects, why, and your choices. It is written to follow Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign up on a video page to get the notes PDF.
- Which notes you asked for (stock, date and page) and the time you signed up.
- Whether you ticked "Also send me the weekly recap".
- Website usage through Google Analytics (pages viewed, rough location, device type), using cookies.
We don't ask for your name, phone number or any financial details.
Why we use it
- To give you the notes PDF you asked for, and to remember on this device that you signed up, so you don't have to sign up again for every stock.
- To see which stocks and notes people find useful, so we know what to cover next.
- Only if you ticked the box: to send you the weekly recap of the AI's views when it starts. Every recap will have an unsubscribe link.
We don't send any other emails, and we never sell or rent your email address.
Where it's kept and who can see it
Sign-ups are stored in a private Google Sheet in the Kamifi Google account, which only Kamifi can open. The website runs on Cloudflare, which handles the sign-up form and its bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile). Google and Cloudflare process data for us under their own privacy terms, and may store it outside Malaysia. If we later start the weekly recap, the list will move to an email-sending service that follows the same rules.
Cookies
- kl_sub and kl_member: set when you sign up, so the notes download works without signing up again. They hold no personal data and last one year.
- Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga): anonymous usage statistics.
You can delete these cookies in your browser at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you ask us to remove it, or until we stop running the notes or the recap, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Email kamifi.com@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request" from the address you signed up with. We'll reply within 21 days.
Changes
If this notice changes, we'll update the date and version above. Sign-ups record which version was shown at the time.
